Review: Benefit Brow Bar Experience

I chance upon Benefit's FB Page and they are having a 1 Day Brow Special on Wednesday, 11th Sep 2103, so I pick up my Mobile and called for appointment straight away.

My appointment was at Benefit Brow Bar @ Sephora Ion.

I reached at 12:30pm and they were serving another customer, so I browsed at their products, while waiting for my turn.

I was served by Ace Lee (Hope I remembered correctly), the Brow expert, at about 12:50pm.

Upon looking at my brows, she says that I have a lot of in-grown hair resulted from shaving. It's true because I do shave my brows sometimes when I'm in a hurry.

Next Ace did a brow mapping and explain the most suitable brow shape for me, following by a simple explanation of the process as it's my first time doing it.

She then tested the warm wax on my hard and peel it off to let me get a feel of the waxing process.

I'm doing the brow & lip wax ($31) as i've also got very fine hairs on my upper lip.

Although the pain is minimum, it will still take a few tries before I'm used to it. The wax is warm on the skin, and the process is super fast. After a few times of waxing and peeling, it was done. After the process, Ace apply some Tea Tree Sooth on the area to sooth the skin.

I experience minimum pain and my brows are neat and clean.

Next Ace applied some powder and show me how to draw my brow.

The whole process took about 20 mins.

I was given a surprise gift and some extra samples as I bought something.

I bought a All Star Kit - Primping with the Stars @ $50.

It's a all-time greatest "Fake it" kit, includes:
the POREfessional
stay don't stray
Girl meets pearl
Some kind-a gorgeous (Medium)
Benetint
They're Real

Visit Benefit Brow Bar and experience it yourself. You'll love it.

Call for appointment in advance.

BB Laboratories? Who? Call me suaku, but I have never heard of this brand before this. I did a quick check on the internet and found out that they are very popular with ladies in Japan & Hong Kong.  So here's a little introduction about them. BB Laboratories BB Laboratories is popular for their Placenta Skincare in Japan and Hong Kong. For your info, they are not yet available in Singapore, except buying it online from BestBuyWorld. BB Laboratories 8-Piece Starter Kit Let's see what's inside the kit? 1. Placenta Extract 2. Eat And Drink: Christmas with Starbucks & Final Giveaway for 2015

Have you tried the Christmas beverages from Starbucks?  美味しいです。。(Delicious in Japanese) This year Starbucks return with 3 returning favorites and a new creation, in both hot latte and frappuccino options. Latte Version Photo credits: Starbucks Singapore New Creation:  Christmas Panettone Latte Returning Favorite:  Peppermint Mocha Latte (Recommended) Gingerbread Latte Toffee Nut Latte Frappuccino Version Photo Credits: Starbucks Singapore New Creation:  Christmas Panettone  Returning Favorite:  Peppermint Mocha (Recommended) Gingerbread Toffee Nut  I've tried all the hot & cold flavors and I preferred the usual Peppermint Mocha in both hot & cold options. As for the new creation, Christmas Panettone, it doesn't give me any surprises at all. I think the dried fruits sprinkle doesn't do justice to the drink too.  Another item that I highly recommend is the Chocolate ...

Niku Kappo by Watabi

It's been a long time since Mr Wonderful and I have a date. Glad to spend some private time together for dinner without Baby Joy! It was a surprise dinner date (3 weeks ago) as he just SMS me the venue 5 minutes before I off work.  When I reach the restaurant, there was a big crowd outside, waiting for tables. Mr Wonderful got 2 seats at the Sushi Counter which is our favorite whenever we dine at a  Japanese Restaurant.   There's a welcome drink for everybody. Never got to know what drink is that as the servers are always busy. We had a hard time trying to get their attention as everyone is attending to tables. There were a lot of table services such as tossing salad and cooking Sukiyaki by the table side.   My welcome drink   Quite nice, a little minty. The chilli padi looks scary, but you don't taste that at all... Wagyu Toro Sushi $7.90 I am not a fan of raw beef, so I've got nothing much to saw about this. But the beef literally 'melts' in my mouth, so make ...
