BB Laboratories? Who?
Call me suaku, but I have never heard of this brand before this. I did a quick check on the internet and found out that they are very popular with ladies in Japan & Hong Kong.
So here's a little introduction about them.
BB Laboratories
BB Laboratories is popular for their Placenta Skincare in Japan and Hong Kong. Their Philosophy, is to 'Listen to Individual Needs', developing products from the perspective of those who will be using them.
I'm so excited to be able to get hold of a 8-piece Starter Kit - including their popular Placenta Extract - from a contest organized by Beauty Patisserie, to try and review. For your info, they are not yet available in Singapore, except buying it online from BestBuyWorld.

My Reviews: The Placenta Extract is very light and absorbed very easily into the skin. I apply it directly after washing my face, after which, I followed my usual routine of toner and moisturizer. After using it for 3 days, I see that my complexion looks brighter and healthier. 1 thing that I don't really like is the smell. It smells too 'raw', if you know what I mean.
Note: Placenta Extract needs to be refrigerated upon opening.
Placenta Extract Water
Formulated with a 10% placenta extract, hyalurone, a highly effective moisturizing agent! and emollient ceramide, it penetrates deep into the skin! revitalizes and moisturizes dull! unhealthy skin! giving it a translucent radiance.
My Reviews: I love toners that doesn't leave a tight or drying feeling, and this is just what I like.
Placen Milk Essence
This is a combination of facial lotion and hydrating milk in 1 product. Skin is strengthen, making it able to withstand external attacks.
My Reviews: The essence absorbed easily into the skin without feeling oily. Skin is smooth upon touch.
Placenta Control UV

This cream is formulated as an all-day "extract beauty treatment". This pre-makeup cream provides skin caring properties and also acts as a base makeup. It is resistant to sweat ans sebum, and offering sheer coverage to cover skin imperfections.

My Reviews: I love the coverage as it hides my pores and also lighten up the pigmentations. It is also sweat proof as I still look fresh after going out in the sun for about 3 hours.
Mild Milk Cleansing
A milky Makeup remover that changes into a cleansing oil that removes makeup and pore-clogging impurities.
My Reviews: The cleansing milk changes into cleansing oil upon rubbing in, melting the makeup. Great for light makeup cleansing.
Moist Skin Washing Foam
A cleansing foam that contains a placenta extract that thoroughly removes dead skin cells and excess sebum.
My Reviews: The washing Foam foams up well. Skin doesn't feels tight, but soft and smooth to touch after washing.
Clearskin Lotion
A special care lotion that helps reduce spots such as acne, oily pores and blackheads. The lotion refines the skin by exfoliating dead skin cells. Developed as a pre-lotion for use with Placenta Extract.
My Reviews: I used this before the Placenta Extract and somehow I felt that the extract absorbed into my skin almost immediately. The lotion is not over-drying and I could feel that my skin is also less oily.

Overall, I'm quite impress with the Placenta Extract and I could see the results after using for a few days. My complexion looks brighter and more radiant. I'm sure that with long term usage, my skin condition will definitely improve significantly.

Hi darl, stumbling on your website when I was looking for a review of this placenta extract. how do you like it? is it all worth the hype? coz it's pretty much steep, almost 10k jpy for a 30ml product.
