RoyceMary Cafe @ Jalan Legundi (Opposite Sembawang Shopping Center)

Went to Sembawang few weeks ago with my family to satifisfy our craving for white beehoon, and realized that there were some new shops around. As the queue for white beehoon was too long, we decided to check out the other new shops. So this post here today is to share a new cafe with you guys, RoyceMary Cafe. Upon opening the door and enter, the first thing that caught my eyes are the colourful heart shape macarons in the cake showcase... There are lots of cakes available... The cafe is small but cozy. Love the quotes about love on their wall. They have a variety of desserts, sandwiches and drinks available. I took this photo cos I love the design of the hanging light bulbs above the cake showcase... Gonna have one in my house in the future.... As we just had dinner, we only ordered some cakes to share. I am going back on my next trip to try their coffee.... Looks delicious,...

Review: Lady M

Have read about Lady M in a few magazine and was looking forward to try their crepes. Lady M is very popular in New York, with a few outlets already. Since we are around Marina Square, I told Hubby that I wanted to have some desserts and here we are, at Lady M. Seating is spacious with white as the main colour. Not very fanciful design, just simple. Potted plants on every table. Simple but beautiful. Taking selfie while waiting for my desserts to arrive. This is a must try.  Signature Mille Crepe Paper thin crepes, layered with light cream. The cream is not so sweet, soft and smooth with a hint of bitterness. Strawberry lovers will love this.  Strawberry Mille Feuille The puff pastry is crispy and flaky. Filled with big chunks of strawberry with fresh cream. A nice place for desserts and coffee if you are around the area. Remember to try the crepe, you'll love it. Lady M Marina Square #02-103

Eat & Drink: PoTeaTo

Spent an afternoon walking around the Tiong Bahru Neighbourhood with my husband last week. We have nothing to do, and though we could just spent the noon walking around. We don't know where to go and suddenly Tiong Bahru comes to my mind, and I thought we could also check out the makan places around the area. We started the walk from Kim Tian Road, passing by a few popular makan places such as Big Mama and Coq & Balls. After turning into Yong Siak Street, I felt raindrops so we decided to take a rest at one of the cafes, and we choose PoTeaTo. The menu looks "seasoned".... We only ordered 2 items as we are just waiting for the rain to stop. I though that the portions will be small but.... Eggless chocolate Cake $8.00 The chocolate taste is thick but not too sweet. And the portion is BIG... Share it with somebody or else it may get abit heavy after a few mouth. That is me, posing to eat the BIG cake. BIG portion of T...
