Eat & Drink: PoTeaTo

Spent an afternoon walking around the Tiong Bahru Neighbourhood with my husband last week. We have nothing to do, and though we could just spent the noon walking around. We don't know where to go and suddenly Tiong Bahru comes to my mind, and I thought we could also check out the makan places around the area.

We started the walk from Kim Tian Road, passing by a few popular makan places such as Big Mama and Coq & Balls.

After turning into Yong Siak Street, I felt raindrops so we decided to take a rest at one of the cafes, and we choose PoTeaTo.

The menu looks "seasoned"....

We only ordered 2 items as we are just waiting for the rain to stop. I though that the portions will be small but....

Eggless chocolate Cake $8.00
The chocolate taste is thick but not too sweet. And the portion is BIG... Share it with somebody or else it may get abit heavy after a few mouth.

That is me, posing to eat the BIG cake.

BIG portion of Truffle Fries ($8)

The flakes on the fries is truffle cheese and they are super generous with it.
The fries has a hint of sweetness and the light fragrance of the truffle cheese. It is so crispy and sweet that I can't stop eating. Recommended...

Display area near the entrance.

Do check out PoTeaTo if you are around the area and remember to try the fries...

PoTeaTo is located at 78 Yong Siak Street #01-18 S163078.

Reviews: Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel

I've never been a fan of peeling gel. I've tried a few brands before, but somehow, I don't think that it works. It's not that it doesn't clear the dead skin, but rather, I can use the peeling gel continuously 3 times on the same place and still, there are lots of dead skin. So it's either the peeling gel doesn't work or I've got too much dead skin.... I got this sample months back when I shopped at the Pop-Up store at Ion. I tot I should try this out since I've been enjoying some of their products. It's a clear gel, turns watery upon application. I like the fact that the dead skins clumps together instead of the usual when they will drop everywhere in the bathroom. I did a second 'test' right after the first usage on the same area. Guess what?  Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel is really up to my expectations.... The first application had removed quite a bit of the dead skin on my hands, and during th...

This post is up for all my friends who are new to online shopping and you know who you are... Haha... I'm sure that everybody knows about QOO10, previously known as Gmarket. I'm here to give you some tips on how to make online shopping at QOO10 a breeze, without the fear of being cheated. 1. Sign up for an account The first thing to do is to sign up for an account. Click here to sign up now. 2. Search for your products Normally I will search for the products under the best selling category. It means that the item is very popular with a lot of buyers. 3. Check out the seller's/Shop's review Compare and check the reviews. Look out for details such as quality, delivery and seller's service. I will normally skip products that are cheap but there's no review, as I don't like to take risks. I will rather spend a few dollars more to buy from reputable sellers/shops. Another thing to take note is that a ...
