Spent an afternoon walking around the Tiong Bahru Neighbourhood with my husband last week. We have nothing to do, and though we could just spent the noon walking around. We don't know where to go and suddenly Tiong Bahru comes to my mind, and I thought we could also check out the makan places around the area. We started the walk from Kim Tian Road, passing by a few popular makan places such as Big Mama and Coq & Balls. After turning into Yong Siak Street, I felt raindrops so we decided to take a rest at one of the cafes, and we choose PoTeaTo. The menu looks "seasoned".... We only ordered 2 items as we are just waiting for the rain to stop. I though that the portions will be small but.... Eggless chocolate Cake $8.00 The chocolate taste is thick but not too sweet. Time passed, and I'm into one month of blogging already.  I published my first post on the 19th Aug 2013, blogging with the intention of passing time as I'm on leave for home rest after the hospitalization. I guess the blogging fever caught up with me. Cath Kidston's first store in Singapore has officially opened at ION Orchard on the 6th Sep 2013. I just finished my eye brow waxing at the Benefit Brow Bar and before heading home, I went over to Cath Kidston to take a look. Cath Kidston was founded in London in 1993, and this year marks their 20th Anniversary. This lifestyle store sells everything, from accessories to bags, aprons to kitchen ware. I love the vintage look and flora designs. Of course, I bought something for myself since I'm here... Look at the bight red colour with dots. So cute. It's so nicely pack, suitable for gift. I saw on Etude House's FB Page that they are having basket sale, so after my body check at KK Hospital, I took the free shuttle to Bugis and headed straight to Etude House. I chance upon Benefit's FB Page and they are having a 1 Day Brow Special on Wednesday, 11th Sep 2103, so I pick up my Mobile and called for appointment straight away.  My appointment was at Benefit Brow Bar @ Sephora Ion. I reached  at 12:30pm  and they were serving another customer, so I browsed at their products, while waiting for my turn. I was served by Ace Lee (Hope I remembered correctly), the Brow expert, at about  12:50pm . Upon looking at my brows, she says that I have a lot of in-grown hair resulted from shaving. It's true because I do shave my brows sometimes when I'm in a hurry.
