Baby Joy is 16 months now...

Baby Joy was born on 12th Dec 2015. The day I've been waiting for so long. I was crying buckets as my epidural wear off as I was trying to push. I got a fever during my labour and as soon as Baby Joy was born, we did not have any body contact (I was looking forward to actually) as she was brought under observation to monintor her body temperature.
It was like about 20 mins or so (I couldn't remember as I was crying due to the pain) later, the nurse brought baby Joy to me and I finally see her for the first time!!

She's a sweet baby...

As it was an assist birth, hence the bruise on her face, Dr told me that it will subside after a week.

We went home on the 3rd day and started on my confinement with my mum helping me!!

Ok, let's cut short on the confinement part as it was the usual things that we did! However, with my mum's approval, I got to wash my hair once every 3 days... And another thing that I missed during confinement was 'No need to do household chores' and eating Yellow Wine Chicken Mee Sua!

Reviews: Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel

I've never been a fan of peeling gel. I've tried a few brands before, but somehow, I don't think that it works. It's not that it doesn't clear the dead skin, but rather, I can use the peeling gel continuously 3 times on the same place and still, there are lots of dead skin. So it's either the peeling gel doesn't work or I've got too much dead skin.... I got this sample months back when I shopped at the Pop-Up store at Ion. I tot I should try this out since I've been enjoying some of their products. It's a clear gel, turns watery upon application. I like the fact that the dead skins clumps together instead of the usual when they will drop everywhere in the bathroom. I did a second 'test' right after the first usage on the same area. Guess what?  Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel is really up to my expectations.... The first application had removed quite a bit of the dead skin on my hands, and during th...

Mummy And Baby: Hospital Checklist

It is never too early to prepare your bags for delivery. You wouldn't want to run around the house packing your bag after your water bag burst. It is good to make sure your hospital bag is ready at least 2 weeks before your EDD, or even earlier. And it must be place somewhere where it is easy to access in case of emergency. Make sure your family members, siblings and husband know where the bag is, so in case you really forgot, they can help you to bring over to the hospital. So what should we pack in the bag? I will list them out in 4 different parts. 1. Documentation  For Admission:  1. Mother's IC 2. Admission Form For Baby's Birth Registration 1. Mother's IC 2. Father's IC 3. Marriage Certificate Do check with your hospital for the required documents. 2. Mummy 1. Mobile phone & charger -  Keep your family members updated of your situation. Keeps you entertain while waiting and to take ...

QOO10 - My Favourite Online Shopping Platform

This post is up for all my friends who are new to online shopping and you know who you are... Haha... I'm sure that everybody knows about QOO10, previously known as Gmarket. I'm here to give you some tips on how to make online shopping at QOO10 a breeze, without the fear of being cheated. 1. Sign up for an account The first thing to do is to sign up for an account. Click here to sign up now. 2. Search for your products Normally I will search for the products under the best selling category. It means that the item is very popular with a lot of buyers. 3. Check out the seller's/Shop's review Compare and check the reviews. Look out for details such as quality, delivery and seller's service. I will normally skip products that are cheap but there's no review, as I don't like to take risks. I will rather spend a few dollars more to buy from reputable sellers/shops. Another thing to take note is that a ...
