Where's My Pen?

Everyday when I start work, the first thing I'll do is to make sure that I have enough pens with me. I need pens to take orders, note down reservations, and for customers to sign credit slips. What annoys me the most is when I lend my pens to the customers, I don't get it back.

Not all restaurants provide pens for their staffs. Like me, I bought the pens with my hard earned money and I really get very frustrated when customers keep my pen into their pockets. Taking a pen without asking is just like stealing.

There was once when I handed my pen out to a customer to sign the credit slip. After signing, he said to his friends, "This pen writes smoothly!", then he popped the pen into his pocket. That was my pen and he took it without asking. I did not ask him for my pen, but I felt really annoyed. He was dressed in a nice suit, looks just like a working professional, but he 'steals' my pen in front of my eyes.

It is not very expensive to buy a pen, but as a waitress, I am writing with a pen everyday. If I lost 1 pen per day, $1 per pen, that means $26 per month. $26 is equivalent to almost 8 packets of chicken rice.

The reason I wrote this post is because this is something that is happening in almost every restaurants. I hope that everybody who dines in a restaurant can be a nice customer. If you really like to keep the pen, ask the waitress, I am sure that the waitress will not reject you.

Reviews: Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel

I've never been a fan of peeling gel. I've tried a few brands before, but somehow, I don't think that it works. It's not that it doesn't clear the dead skin, but rather, I can use the peeling gel continuously 3 times on the same place and still, there are lots of dead skin. So it's either the peeling gel doesn't work or I've got too much dead skin.... I got this sample months back when I shopped at the Pop-Up store at Ion. I tot I should try this out since I've been enjoying some of their products. It's a clear gel, turns watery upon application. I like the fact that the dead skins clumps together instead of the usual when they will drop everywhere in the bathroom. I did a second 'test' right after the first usage on the same area. Guess what?  Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel is really up to my expectations.... The first application had removed quite a bit of the dead skin on my hands, and during th...

I'm here to give you some tips on how to make online shopping at QOO10 a breeze, without the fear of being cheated. 1. Sign up for an account The first thing to do is to sign up for an account. Click here to sign up now. 2. Search for your products Normally I will search for the products under the best selling category. It means that the item is very popular with a lot of buyers. 3. Check out the seller's/Shop's review Compare and check the reviews. Look out for details such as quality, delivery and seller's service. I will normally skip products that are cheap but there's no review, as I don't like to take risks. I will rather spend a few dollars more to buy from reputable sellers/shops. Another thing to take note is that a ...
