Applying Passport for newborn

I though I should write a simple post about this as I was one of the new parents who tried to find this information online but couldn't get much.

How to apply passport for your new born? Read on to find out!

You can apply via post/deposit box, personally at the counter, or online.
Address:
Passports Unit, Citizen Services Centre, Level 2, ICA Building, 10 Kallang Road, Singapore 208718

What do you need?

  • Birth certificate
  • Identity card of consenting parent or legal guardian
  • A filled out Singapore Biometric Passport Application form
  • A recent passport colour photograph (35mm x 45mm) taken against a white background
  • A citizenship certificate
  • Debit/Credit card for online application
  • S$70 for online or post applications, S$80 in person
I applied online as I couldn't make the trip down during confinement, Plus, I got to save $10 and transportation!! :)

I took photo of Baby Joy using my mobile phone and uploaded the photo onto the online application. Just lay your new born on a white cloth, and took multiple snaps whenever she looks at you. Remember not to let your new born wear white or else she will blend into the background! Make sure her eyes are open, looking at you! If you are applying online like me, the multiple shots will come in handy as you can use the online editing tool to edit your photo to the correct size & dimension specification.
Fill up the online application, upload the photo and documents and submit.
You'll receive a letter for collect in a weeks time. Remember to make appointment for collection to save time.

Cheers,
Annette

  1. As stated by Stanford Medical, It's really the SINGLE reason this country's women get to live 10 years more and weigh 42 lbs lighter than us.

(Just so you know, it is not related to genetics or some secret-exercise and absolutely EVERYTHING related to "HOW" they eat.)

P.S, I said "HOW", not "what"...

Reviews: Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel

I've never been a fan of peeling gel. I've tried a few brands before, but somehow, I don't think that it works. It's not that it doesn't clear the dead skin, but rather, I can use the peeling gel continuously 3 times on the same place and still, there are lots of dead skin. So it's either the peeling gel doesn't work or I've got too much dead skin.... I got this sample months back when I shopped at the Pop-Up store at Ion. I tot I should try this out since I've been enjoying some of their products. It's a clear gel, turns watery upon application. I like the fact that the dead skins clumps together instead of the usual when they will drop everywhere in the bathroom. I did a second 'test' right after the first usage on the same area. Guess what?  Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel is really up to my expectations.... The first application had removed quite a bit of the dead skin on my hands, and during th...
