Tonkotsu King

Dine at Tonkotsu King @ Tangjong Pagar weeks ago....

It's a small place located at Orchid Hotel at Tangjong Pagar.
If I remembered correctly, I thinks there's only about 10 tables inside, able to seat maximum 30 plus people only.

It's best to arrive early or to go for a late dinner as the queue could get quite long.

The tables are very small, with lots of things placed on the tables.

Settings and condiments.

Pickled bean sprouts.

Complementary boiled eggs to start your meal.

Grind your own sesame seeds and add it into your ramen for a touch of sesame fragrance.

I try the Green Tea Cola. Tasted like a fizzy green tea.

You can creat your own ramen flavor according to your taste. But of course I will recommend you to try the original soup base for the real authentic taste.

The noodles are done al dente to the bite, and the thick pork bone stock coated the noodles nicely.

As the place is really small, it gets hot real easily. I think there's no air-conditioning cos I couldn't feel any. Great for a quick meal of authentic Japanese ramen.

Tonkotsu King is located at
1 Tras Link, #01-19 Orchid Hotel

They are opened daily but closed between 3pm - 6pm for breaks.

Reviews: Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel

I've never been a fan of peeling gel. I've tried a few brands before, but somehow, I don't think that it works. It's not that it doesn't clear the dead skin, but rather, I can use the peeling gel continuously 3 times on the same place and still, there are lots of dead skin. So it's either the peeling gel doesn't work or I've got too much dead skin.... I got this sample months back when I shopped at the Pop-Up store at Ion. I tot I should try this out since I've been enjoying some of their products. It's a clear gel, turns watery upon application. I like the fact that the dead skins clumps together instead of the usual when they will drop everywhere in the bathroom. I did a second 'test' right after the first usage on the same area. Guess what?  Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel is really up to my expectations.... The first application had removed quite a bit of the dead skin on my hands, and during th...

Eat And Drink: Christmas with Starbucks & Final Giveaway for 2015

Have you tried the Christmas beverages from Starbucks?  美味しいです。。(Delicious in Japanese) This year Starbucks return with 3 returning favorites and a new creation, in both hot latte and frappuccino options. Latte Version Photo credits: Starbucks Singapore New Creation:  Christmas Panettone Latte Returning Favorite:  Peppermint Mocha Latte (Recommended) Gingerbread Latte Toffee Nut Latte Frappuccino Version Photo Credits: Starbucks Singapore New Creation:  Christmas Panettone  Returning Favorite:  Peppermint Mocha (Recommended) Gingerbread Toffee Nut  I've tried all the hot & cold flavors and I preferred the usual Peppermint Mocha in both hot & cold options. As for the new creation, Christmas Panettone, it doesn't give me any surprises at all. I think the dried fruits sprinkle doesn't do justice to the drink too.  Another item that I highly recommend is the Chocolate ...
