Mookata - The latest BBQ Steamboat in Town

I have always been one who love having steamboat and recently I'm hooked on Mookata, traditional Thai BBQ. This is not new but if you haven't try it, then you are out....

If there's only 2 of you then you should order the BBQ set for 2 persons.

There's prawn, squid, fish balls, pork balls, otah, bacon, marinated chicken thigh and pork belly.

Of course, there are also vegetables, mushrooms, corn, tofu and vermicelli.

You don't use butter for the BBQ, but lard to get the cooking started. BBQ food taste so much better with lard, although it's unhealthy.

The pan is heated using charcoal, just like the real BBQ.

Place the meat on the dome shape pan and as the meat cooks, the juice and oil from the meat will flow into the soup, making the soup taste even better.

I've never been a fan of peeling gel. I've tried a few brands before, but somehow, I don't think that it works. It's not that it doesn't clear the dead skin, but rather, I can use the peeling gel continuously 3 times on the same place and still, there are lots of dead skin. So it's either the peeling gel doesn't work or I've got too much dead skin.... I got this sample months back when I shopped at the Pop-Up store at Ion. I tot I should try this out since I've been enjoying some of their products. It's a clear gel, turns watery upon application.
