Review & Giveaway: Impress Manicure - Press On

Being in the food and beverage industry means no fancy manicures, short finger nails. Even worst is that I got a bad habit of plucking and tearing my nails... Yup, you read correctly, I mean plucking and tearing my nails when they starts to grow or when I see the whites....

So every time, during special occasions, I like to use fake nails to cover my short ugly nails. But using fake nails means I need nail glue and they are normally quite difficult to remove, and thus, make my nails even brittle.

Stick on nails are usually not strong enough, and they always fall off after washing my hands.

Saw this press on manicure at guardian pharmacy and was attracted by the colour. Bought it on impulse, but I'm not regretting it...

The nails are pack in a plastic nail polish bottle. Cute right.... ;)

The colour is so chio....

How it works?

The good:

My Reviews: Seriously, this press on nails are really lasting. The nails stays on after 5 hands washing after toilet breaks, 4 hair wash, during the 2 days that I'm wearing them on. The colour, too, was lasting, and didn't fade off with so many washing.... For short term, these nails are fantastic....

There are also other designs and different lengths available too.

Got those pictures online, not sure if they are available in Singapore or not, but I did saw some other designs available for sale when I bought this.

Check them out at all Guardian Phamacy selling from $15 for the plain colored ones. Those with designs are priced between $16 - $19.

Reviews: Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel

I've never been a fan of peeling gel. I've tried a few brands before, but somehow, I don't think that it works. It's not that it doesn't clear the dead skin, but rather, I can use the peeling gel continuously 3 times on the same place and still, there are lots of dead skin. So it's either the peeling gel doesn't work or I've got too much dead skin.... I got this sample months back when I shopped at the Pop-Up store at Ion. I tot I should try this out since I've been enjoying some of their products. It's a clear gel, turns watery upon application. I like the fact that the dead skins clumps together instead of the usual when they will drop everywhere in the bathroom. I did a second 'test' right after the first usage on the same area. Guess what?  Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel is really up to my expectations.... The first application had removed quite a bit of the dead skin on my hands, and during th...

Eat And Drink: Christmas with Starbucks & Final Giveaway for 2015

Have you tried the Christmas beverages from Starbucks?  美味しいです。。(Delicious in Japanese) This year Starbucks return with 3 returning favorites and a new creation, in both hot latte and frappuccino options. Latte Version Photo credits: Starbucks Singapore New Creation:  Christmas Panettone Latte Returning Favorite:  Peppermint Mocha Latte (Recommended) Gingerbread Latte Toffee Nut Latte Frappuccino Version Photo Credits: Starbucks Singapore New Creation:  Christmas Panettone  Returning Favorite:  Peppermint Mocha (Recommended) Gingerbread Toffee Nut  I've tried all the hot & cold flavors and I preferred the usual Peppermint Mocha in both hot & cold options. As for the new creation, Christmas Panettone, it doesn't give me any surprises at all. I think the dried fruits sprinkle doesn't do justice to the drink too.  Another item that I highly recommend is the Chocolate ...
