Bella Box Review Aug 2013

The box was delivered when I was hospitalised and finally today I have the time to open the box and look at the items.

The theme this month was Singapore and the box was a Peranakan inspired design. I like the colours and the design so much... Even the tissue that was used to wrapped the products was a nice shade of purple and was stick on with a sticker in the design of orchid.

And as usual, the box was filled up almost to the rim....

1. Dermedex Anti-Acne Challenge Pack

It consist of Dermedex Refining Cream 2 (5g) and Biotox Cleanser (10g).
Biotox Cleanser helps to unclog pores while moisturising your skin. It can reduce the visible signs of aging while restoring the supple, glowing properties of a healthy skin.
Refining Cream 2 is a quick and effective solution for problem skin such as pimples, big open pores and dull appearance. Regular use will encourage blackhead resistant skin, reduce redness and irritation.

Claims that you can have clearer skin in just 3 days...

Retail Price:
Refining Cream 2: 30ml/$69
Biotox Cleanser: 50ml/$50

Sample worth:
Refining Cream 2: 5g/$11.50
Biotox Cleanser: 10g/$10

2. HARNN Hand Cream

There are 3 different flavours available for Aug box: Jasmine & Pomegranate, Cymbopogon and Oriental Rose with Coenzyme Q10; and I got the first one...

The sample was a generous size of 25gm while the retail size is 50gm.

The fragrance was very pleasant, especially the jasmine.

It was not oily and was quickly absorbed into the skin. Great if you are always staying or working in the air-conditioned area, keeping your hands soft and moisturised.

Retail Price:
50g/$45

Sample worth:
25g/$22.50

3. Wotnot Facial Wipes

It is a 100% soft natural fibre wipes in a convenient pack, contains all natural ingredients such as Australian certified organic aloe Vera, rosehip and sweet almond oils. Helps to cleanes impurities and can also removed make up and waterproof mascara.

It feels abit oily after the wipe but my face is clean. the oiliness disappears after a few seconds. The wipe is indeed soft and of course, convenient as you do not need to rinse with water. I'm not too sure if it could remove waterproof mascara, but it will take at least 2 wipes to remove normal daily make up.

Great if you are in areas where getting water is a problem, if not I will still prefer to use cleansers to wash my face and to remove make up.

Retail Price:
25ml/$9.25

Sample Worth:
5wipes/$1.85

4. my LIFE INC. TEAISM brew

I am not really a tea drinker thus I'm not gonna comment about the taste.
It is a healthy tea for the busy you. Great for your inner-well being.
But I feel that looking at the packaging, it's a very innovative product. It is a tea bag and stirrer, 2 in 1. Just dip the tea stick into hot water and stir to taste.
5 different flavours to choose from:
Ginger Black Tea for Comfort
Green Tea for Balance
Fancy Black Tea for Energy
Blueberry Tea for Protection
Osmanthus Oolong Tea for Restoration

Retail Price:
$1.50/wand

Sample Worth:
$3.00

5. ModelCo Cheek & Lip Tint

I love cheek & Lip tints because they are super convenient and lasting. All I need is just 1 item that will bring me from day to night.

The tint look dark upon application but turns a light tint of pink upon spreading out. May need to use a lot to make the tint look obvious on the cheek. This is waterproof and can last a long time outdoor.

Retail Price:
10ml/$28

Sample Worth:
5ml/$14

6. Make Up For Ever Mini Face and Body Liquid Makeup

The texture is light and smooth, doesn't put any weight on your skin. Easy to spread on and covers well. Looks oh so natural....

Retail Price:
50ml/$69

Sample Worth:
5ml/$6.90

Bonus: L'egere Aqua Smoothing Essence-in C.C Cream & L'egere Magic Skin Beautifier C.C Cream

This month's box includes 2 sachets of the L'egere products. This is one of my favourite brand.
This month's box is definitely worth the price that I had paid for. Looking forward to the next box and hopefully there will be more surprises coming with it.

Bye, 2013... Hello, 2014.... & Mini Giveaway

After all the celebration and parties to celebrate Christmas, so 2013 is coming to an end. Looking back into 2013, I've got a fair share of the good and bad...  Now that 2014 is arriving, it's time to plan for the future.... Yes! I plan that in 2013, but things are not going smoothly for me then.  But I'm gonna do that again in 2014, and the first thing I'm gonna do is.... To be pregnant again... Yes, that's my number one plan for 2014. I'm not young anymore, and I really do look forward to have a child of my own. I lost my child in 2013, and I'm not gonna let that happen again this time. I'm gonna take good care of myself this time and give birth to a healthy baby. Secondly, Mr Wonderful and I had gave up choosing a bto unit this year. It is because they are left with only second storey units, while we prefer a higher storey one. Hopefully, this year, we are able to to book a unit. Next, I hope I can have more time

Niku Kappo by Watabi

It's been a long time since Mr Wonderful and I have a date. Glad to spend some private time together for dinner without Baby Joy! It was a surprise dinner date (3 weeks ago) as he just SMS me the venue 5 minutes before I off work.  When I reach the restaurant, there was a big crowd outside, waiting for tables. Mr Wonderful got 2 seats at the Sushi Counter which is our favorite whenever we dine at a  Japanese Restaurant.   There's a welcome drink for everybody. Never got to know what drink is that as the servers are always busy. We had a hard time trying to get their attention as everyone is attending to tables. There were a lot of table services such as tossing salad and cooking Sukiyaki by the table side.   My welcome drink   Quite nice, a little minty. The chilli padi looks scary, but you don't taste that at all... Wagyu Toro Sushi $7.90 I am not a fan of raw beef, so I've got nothing much to saw about this. But the beef literally 'melts' in my mouth, so make

Eat And Drink: Christmas with Starbucks & Final Giveaway for 2015

Have you tried the Christmas beverages from Starbucks?  美味しいです。。(Delicious in Japanese) This year Starbucks return with 3 returning favorites and a new creation, in both hot latte and frappuccino options. Latte Version Photo credits: Starbucks Singapore New Creation:  Christmas Panettone Latte Returning Favorite:  Peppermint Mocha Latte (Recommended) Gingerbread Latte Toffee Nut Latte Frappuccino Version Photo Credits: Starbucks Singapore New Creation:  Christmas Panettone  Returning Favorite:  Peppermint Mocha (Recommended) Gingerbread Toffee Nut  I've tried all the hot & cold flavors and I preferred the usual Peppermint Mocha in both hot & cold options. As for the new creation, Christmas Panettone, it doesn't give me any surprises at all. I think the dried fruits sprinkle doesn't do justice to the drink too.  Another item that I highly recommend is the Chocolate Praline Log Cake. I
