It's 2 years and I'm moving

Time passed and it is already 2 years from my first post. 

Happy 2nd Birthday to RainRain's 下雨天. And if you already realized, I've decided to change a new name for my blog! 

Let me introduce you to Annette's Wonderful Playground. 


This blog is really a playground for me. I got to make new friends, I understand myself a lot more, I had fun blogging about my loves.

Looking back, I've grown up a lot.

How have I change?
Hmmm... Let's see what had happen during the past year...

1. I started on weekly jogging.
Although it's just once a week, but better than nothing. :P The most important thing was I actually persisted all the way till I'm pregnant. Yeah!!! I'm also going to continue jogging after I give birth!!

2. I've quit smoking.
Yes! After almost 18 years of smoking, I've quit! I really hope to start a family soon so to stop smoking is another step nearer to my target!!!

3. I got better skin.
 I'm actually quite lazy, and I don't really take care of my skin. My skin looks dull and I looked older than my real age. After I started this blog, I start to understand my skin, I give them the tender, loving care she needs and my skin condition is so much better than before. They are not 100% perfect, but I'm contented with the way they are now.

4. My skincare knowledge improved.
I'm now a walking dictionary among my colleagues. They will always come to me with questions about skincare or the latest product in the market. 

5. I'm finally pregnant.
After trying for so many time, I'm finally carrying a little baby girl in me. I'm looking forward to seeing her, carrying her..... 

I'm moving on to the next chapter of my life soon. Both Mr Wonderful & me are looking forward to receiving this little addition to our family soon. 14 weeks more to go....

Career Switch @ Age 35

If you have went through this, you will know how I feel.... Career switch at age 35 seems like a risk... I have been in the restaurant line for the longest time already, and I spend the last 11 years in my previous company working hard to achieve who I am today. And poof, it's all gone now!!! What is the reason for this career switch and why? It is all because I AM A MOTHER! For the past year, I realize that I am always tired, I got no time to see my baby at all! She's still sleeping when I go to work, and she would have already fall asleep when I reach home! On my rest day, all I wanted is to sleep as I am so tired. It's been a long time since Mr Wonderful and I have a date. Glad to spend some private time together for dinner without Baby Joy! It was a surprise dinner date (3 weeks ago) as he just SMS me the venue 5 minutes before I off work.  When I reach the restaurant, there was a big crowd outside, waiting for tables. Mr Wonderful got 2 seats at the Sushi Counter which is our favorite whenever we dine at a  Japanese Restaurant.   There's a welcome drink for everybody. Never got to know what drink is that as the servers are always busy. We had a hard time trying to get their attention as everyone is attending to tables. There were a lot of table services such as tossing salad and cooking Sukiyaki by the table side.   My welcome drink   Quite nice, a little minty.
