Eggs & Berries (Westgate)

Had dinner with a few friends at Eggs & Berries @ Westgate.

Food was good, and they have lots of promotions going on so it was gentle on our pockets too.

Soup of the Day

Every spoon taste of fresh mushrooms.

Sweet Brioche French Toast

Love the bananas as it was not overly sweet or soft.

The Genie

Omelette with choices of toppings. I choose bacon, mushrooms and corn kernel. The omelette was not too dry, and the saltiness from the bacon was just nice.

Pink Fish Steak

Salmon was cooked very nicely, not too dry. The sauce complements the fish really well.

Tutti Fruiti Pancake

Pancakes are soft & fluffy, fruits are fresh. The cream is not to sweet, everything complements well together. Choose your favourite syrup to go with the pancakes.

Berries Special Waffles

Full of fresh strawberries and blue berries, but waffles were too dry. We had difficulty finishing the waffles.

Overall, it was a nice dinner, service was so so. We were seated at the side so it was difficult to get the attention of the servers. A great place for gatherings and gentle on the wallets.

Reviews: Orbis Aqua Peeling Gel

I've never been a fan of peeling gel. I've tried a few brands before, but somehow, I don't think that it works. It's not that it doesn't clear the dead skin, but rather, I can use the peeling gel continuously 3 times on the same place and still, there are lots of dead skin. So it's either the peeling gel doesn't work or I've got too much dead skin.... I got this sample months back when I shopped at the Pop-Up store at Ion. I tot I should try this out since I've been enjoying some of their products. It's a clear gel, turns watery upon application. I like the fact that the dead skins clumps together instead of the usual when they will drop everywhere in the bathroom. I did a second 'test' right after the first usage on the same area. It is never too early to prepare your bags for delivery. You wouldn't want to run around the house packing your bag after your water bag burst.
