4 more days before I make my way to Taiwan next week. Was super busy for the past few weeks as I am in-charge of all the itinery, hotels and transport for the trip. Will be going with Mr Wonderful and my parents. I spent about $800 on hotels, air-ticket, bullet train and train tickets for this trip. I got a super great deal from Scoot, spending only $450 for business class 2 way ticket. But recently, I saw a lot of negative comments about the flight being delayed on their Facebook Fanpage. Hopefully, I can be lucky, and enjoy my holiday as planned. We are starting our trip from Chiayi going to Alishan to catch the sun rise, then down to Taichung to visit the famous Feng Jia Night Market and finally back to Taipei for all the shopping. I'm sooooo excited that I hope I can just go sleep and wake up finding myself in Taiwan already. Will share my itinery with you guys on the coming post... Keep a look out... XOXO, Rain

Just few weeks ago, while dining out, I saw a family of 4 dining at a restaurant, with minimal interactions. All 4 of them are playing with their mobile phones and iPads, and the waitress actually approached them more than 2 times to get their orders. After their food arrived, they still did not talk to each other, just eat and continue looking at their mobile phones and iPads. Why eat together if you do not intend to interact with each other? When is the last time that you have given your love ones a surprise?  For Mr Wonderful and me, we like to give each other surprises every now and then. It can be a little surprise lovey dovey notes, simple hand made gifts or surprise visits.... It is our way to show appreciation for each other.
