Dating/Outing Ideas - For Husbands & Wives, Dating Couples

My husband is not a romantic person. He never plans any outing when we were dating, and still, he don't plan any outings after we are married. Me, being a fun loving person, is always on a lookout for new dating/outing ideas. Gone were the days when dating means a romantic dinner and the latest movie. What I like is a day out kite flying, cycling or a tour to the country side. Kite Flying @ Marina Barrage Pack some food and drinks, a soft mat and the most important thing, a Kite and off you go to the Marina Barrage. It's always pack on weekends, thus, go on a weekday if you want to be able to fly kite. Spend some time together, sit back and relax, take a look at the spectacular view of Singapore’s city skyline and take some pictures. You'll wish that time will freeze at the beautiful moment. Farm Tour @ Kranji Countryside Spend a day of tranquility with your partner at the Kranji Countryside.  Explore the different farms in Kranji b...

Memories - Archie Andrews

Having nothing better to do, I had decided to clean out my closet when I see a pile of Archie Comics in a corner, covered in dust... I flipped one of the comic and started reading it. I know I have read that story before, but my hands just couldn't stop flipping the pages, and after a good 10 minutes, I reach the end of the book. I'm sure everyone out there knows who is Archie Andrews... He is one of the main character in the comic of Archie's. I've been ready this since secondary school and had continued till about 3 years ago, I stop, after I got to know my husband.  Suddenly, all the memories started coming back to me. The comics reminds me of my secondary school days when I like to hide in the library reading the comic. After I got my first part time job, I started buying the comics and read them when ever I am free. When I got my first full time job, I started sitting at cafes and restaurants, reading the comics during my off days.  I have always b...

5 Simple Tips for Great Skin

Who says that you need to spend a lot of money to get great skin? Just follow these 5 simple steps and you'll see the difference in your skin... 1. Always remove your make up Clean skin will be able to breathe and regenerate itself when you sleep at night, thus, it is very important that you remove your make up before you sleep. Leaving eye make up such as mascara and eye liner can also lead to serious eye infections. Mascara will also clog eyelash follicles that will eventually lead to breakage and shedding. Leaving make up on your skin will clog your pores making them look big, and also cause breakouts more frequently.  The effect from leaving makeup on your face overnight can clog your pores and cause you to experience breakouts more frequently. 2. Wash your face twice a Day Washing your face will remove impurities and oil from your skin. When you sleep at night, dust, dirt and bacteria may accumulate on your skin, thus, you should always wash ...

Cosmetics: Is it still safe to use after opening it for 6 months?

Hubby has been nagging me recently, commenting that I have too much 'rubbish' on my makeup table. I turn around and take a look and realised that I really have too many cosmetics, skin care that had been there for a long time. I only have 1 face, so how could I use up all of them? 'Throw them away if they're too old, I wouldn't want you to suffer from skin infections?', he commented again, looking at me and shaking his head before he walk out of the room. Once again, I turn around and look onto the table and wonder, 'Maybe it's time to check through and throw away anything that's too old.' I'm sure everyone of you had the same problem with me. We buy and buy and ended up with too many cosmetics. Some of them are unopened, while some are only used once. But how long can we keep them without having to worry about getting infections when using them. What are their shelf life, whether th...
